Q. I am right handed and want to carry in the small of my back (SOB). Should I order a right or left handed holster?
A. Always order for your strong side. So if you are right handed, order a right handed holster. If you are left handed, order a left handed holster. If you order the opposite hand holster for SOB carry, you will point the firearm at yourself when you draw from this position. It looks great in the movies and it is much easier to grasp your gun but it is dangerous under normal circumstances and can be deadly under stress. So get the right holster for your strong side and if you want to wear it in the SOB position, adjust the cant angle to make it easier to grab the gun. And stretch your shoulder tendons daily by reaching around your body until you can do it comfortably and confidently. It took me about a month to get flexible enough to carry SOB.
Q. Do Kholster holsters come with clips?
A. Yes. All of our products came with everything you need to start using them right away. All holsters are shipped completely assembled and include black belt clips to fit a thick 1 ½” belt.
Q. What size and types of clips do you offer?
A. Kholster has 3 clips styles at this time. All Kholsters are shipped fully assembled with 1 ½” steel belt clips. You can also request 1 ¾” steel clips or 1 ½” Kydex Clips. All of our clips are black. Kydex clips are not covered by our Lifetime Warranty because they break too easily. J and C clips are not available at this time.
Q. Do you offer J clips or C clips?
A. Not at this time.
Q. Will clips from other holster manufacturers work with a Kholster?
A. Most clips will work as long as they have a hole large enough for a 8/32 x ¼” screw.
Q. I can’t find my gun in your list. Do you cover my gun yet?
A. The list of covered guns is updated pretty regularly. If you don’t see your gun listed, there is a good chance we don’t cover it yet. But don’t let that stop you from asking. We listen to our customers and if enough want a particular model covered, we will either buy the gun or a mold for it. You also have the option of swapping a Kholster for the mold. If a mold is available and you’re willing to pay for it (usually around $85), we will get it and send you the first Kholster made from it.
Q. Will I get a tracking number when my Kholster ships?
A. Yes, in most cases you should receive an email with the tracking number. Please keep in mind that USPS is slow to update their website so you may receive it before they tell you it has left our facility. But they are usually pretty quick so when you get an email with a tracking number you can expect to receive it in about 3 to 4 days 5 days.
