Maintaining your Kholster
FIT AND FINISH
All Kholsters are made to exact specifications for your specific firearm. When wearing your Kholster, your firearm should fit snuggly. If you wear your belt tight, it may be bit difficult to draw until your Kholster has broken in (approximately 50 draws).
Making Adjustments
Retention
Too Loose: If your firearm is loose in the Kholster when worn, it may need to be adjusted. You can do it yourself or you can send it to us and we will do it for you for just the cost of shipping.
To adjust your Kholster, gently heat the Kydex with a Hair drier in a sweeping motion until the plastic becomes soft. Be careful not to over heat it – the plastic will become shiny and lose some of its shape if it gets overheated. Once the plastic is warm and little pliable, put your UNLOADED firearm in the holster. Using a kitchen towel or glove to protect your fingers from the warm Kydex, gently press down on the plastic over the ejection port and the front edge of the trigger guard. Hold until the plastic cools (about 60 seconds). Put your Kholster on and re-holster your gun. Check the retention. IMPORTANT SAFETY WARNING: Never press in on the plastic near the back edge of the trigger guard as this may put the Kydex in contact with the trigger resulting in a dangerous discharge hazard. If you are not comfortable making adjustments, we will be happy to do it for you at no charge.
Too Tight: If your firearm is tight in the Kholster when worn, it may need to be adjusted or it may just need to be broken in. Before making adjustments, give it a few days to work itself out. Practice drawing and re-holstering. After about 50 draws, your Kholster should loosen up. If you need to make further adjustments, you can do them yourself or you can send it to us and we will do it for you for just the cost of shipping.

Depth and Cant Angle
All Kholsters are adjustable for cant angle and depth. To adjust your Kholster, remove the belt clips and move them to holes that will give you the depth or angle you want. Using lower holes makes the firearm ride higher. Be careful not to over tighten the screws or removing them for other adjustments may become difficult.
